Chapter Nineteen

You went in the guest room to check on Sabrina. She was laying on the floor. "Sabrina!!" Casey shouted and went over to her. You followed. She opened her eyes slowly. "What happened?!" Casey freaked out. "There was a man... he hit me with the chair." Sabrina murmured. She got up and you went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water for her. "Have some water." You said handing it to her. "But... what about the gunshots?" You asked. "I don't know." Sabrina said. "We have to call the cops & the ambulance ASAP!" Casey said. You dialed the numbers and called them. *time skip* The ambulance came and took Casey & Sabrina to the hospital while you talked to the cops. You told them what you heard and stuff like that. "It could've been the robber..." the cop said. "Maybe... he did steal a few things from here. And he hurt Sabrina." You said. "Okay, well... call your parents to make sure they know about what happened. You nodded. "We will drop you to the hospital." The cop said and you nodded. *time skip* Sabrina got discharged and all of you went home. You and Casey managed to explain everything to you and his parents about what happened. You parents said they won't be able to come back until a week later... when the summer camp starts. Casey's mom came to picked you all up and went to their house. You guys made a little stop at your house to get your things first, you saw a letter near your drawer. You grabbed the letter and put it in your pocket. You went back in the car and headed to Casey's house. *time skip* Sabrina was resting in her room. Mrs. Simpson was making sure Sabrina was okay. You and Casey had lunch and sat in the living room. You took out the letter from your pocket. "What's that?" Casey asked. "I don't know. It was left in my drawer." You said. "Let's see what's inside." Casey said and you nodded. You started tearing the envelope. "Are you both hungry?" Mrs. Simpson asked. You gasped. "Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startled you." She said. "It's okay." You said and smiled. "I'm kinda hungry." Casey said. You nodded agreeing with him. "Okay... I'll make you two some sandwiches okay?" She said. "Okay." Both of you replied. Then she left the room.
